Big Wave

Calm Happy Taiji is for wellness, healing and self-cultivation. Inter-weaved within these three themes is the practice of self-relaxation; a sacred dimensional activity-time that we set for ourselves to let go of bad energy and nourish good qi in return.

The evergreen four-season pine trees have long lives, often up to a hundred or some even several thousands years old. They grow in diverse environments and stand tall, majestic and awe-inspiring facing the seas, lakes, gorges and in mountainous areas, at times, in the midst of the cities and urban complexes as well.

Through the practice of various Taiji and Qigong movements, we learn to cultivate our good selves physically, mentally and spiritually like the pine trees which have been considered as “wise beings” which, despite their strong upright stature, are known to create light-heartedness in us when we encounter their subtle movements in the wind, viewing them from near and afar or simply, resting or relaxing underneath them.

Together, we can achieve being calm and happy; Nature has never forsaken us, let’s move and breathe, just to begin! We can truly take charge of our well-being through immersing in ancient and innovative movement exercises.
